ABOUT THE PUBLICATION

Report an error or changed instruction

Tell How to Make Live about a factual error, missing condition or app control that has changed.

If a guide contains a factual error or a procedure has changed, email contact@howtomake.live. Include the page address, the affected sentence or step and a short explanation of the issue.

Information that helps us locate the problem

For an app-navigation issue, tell us the platform, device type and the label or message you see. A link to current official guidance can help establish the change. If you send a screenshot, remove private information before attaching it.

Distinguish an unavailable account feature from an inaccurate instruction where possible. A platform can restrict an individual account even when the general route remains available. We cannot change platform access decisions, but we can clarify the conditions a guide should explain.

How changes are treated

We assess reported errors against the relevant information and correct material inaccuracies. A substantive update to a rule, instruction or conclusion should be identified and dated where it affects the reader. Spelling, formatting and other changes that do not alter meaning are routine edits.

An unresolved factual question should not be presented as a confirmed result. Suggestions for clearer examples are welcome too, even when the existing wording is not factually wrong.

Use the same address for general editorial questions. See our editorial policy for the publication’s commitments and our privacy policy for information about handling correspondence.
